These carved-out zucchinis filled with a savory ground meat stuffing are the perfect, fun and wholesome twist to your regular baked zucchini. Very tasty and definitely one of my favorite. 
This recipe is fancy enough to serve as a side dish on a special event. Yet so comforting and easy to make for any weeknight dinner, maybe next to a couple of slices of warm bread and a big healthy salad. And they are also great for the kids, especially if you have one of those picky veggie eaters. You can now "hide" the vegetables and turn them into cute, green little boats.

I love, Love, LOVE puff pastry. And what's not to love about a crispy and buttery layer of indulgence that tastes so good in both sweet and savory dishes?!? 
And I especially like it when I don't have to spend hours sweating in the kitchen to roll out the perfect dough that unmistakably puffs up in the oven. It's not that easy! Believe me - I've miserably failed before.
So even though I love dishes made from scratch (you know I do!), when it comes to puff pastry, I much prefer the easiness of running to the freezer section of my grocery store, and grab a ready-to-use puff pastry box. This pastry never fails and bakes perfectly every single time.

S'More Cookie Cups

S'mores like you haven't had before
Summer would not be complete without the awesomeness of bonfire s'mores. Gooey and chocolaty. For sure, one of the best summertime treats. 

Today's recipe is not your classic chocolate and toasted marshmallows squooshed between two crispy graham crackers. 
Oh no. 
It's that. And a lot more.
The same sticky marshmallow. The same melted chocolate, but creamier and richer. The same graham-crackers, but crumbled and sprinkled in chewy cookie dough. 
All of it packaged in a mess-free, travel-friendly cookie cup.

Healthy Pasta Salad with Grilled Veggies

I realized I've been posting lots of sweet recipes recently, and not enough wholesome dinner ideas. 
And I do claim mine is a blog about Italian food. So for a minute, let's not think about chocolate covered  almond cookies or moist and buttery cakes exploding with fresh berries. And let's dive, headfirst, in this healthy and scrumptious vegetarian pasta. 
It's super easy and quick (ready in no more than 30 minutes) and it can be prepared ahead of time.

Hmm... Because I really can't make up my mind, today I use both. Not in crumble bars, but a delicate and healthy upside-down cake.
